INOGET sets the Course for the Future

Reiter Family acquires Specialist in Automatic Sampling Systems

Landshut / Quedlinburg - Effective October 1st 2026, the Reiter family (Reiter Seed Processing GmbH & Co. KG, Willy Niklas GmbH) has acquired INOGET Christoph Lehmann GmbH. The company will continue operations under the new name INOGET Bulk Sampling Systems GmbH, headquartered in Landshut.

The acquisition provides a long-term succession solution for the company built up by Christoph Lehmann (center). INOGET will remain an independent company and continue to operate as an independent brand. Johann Reiter (left) and Matthias Reiter (right) will serve as Managing Directors of the new INOGET Bulk Sampling Systems GmbH.

For existing customers and business partners, two aspects remain particularly important: continuity and quality. The proven product range for automatic sampling will be continued. New systems, spare parts supply and support for existing installations will be secured for the long term by the new owners.

Focus on core competence: Sampling

For many years, INOGET has been developing automatic sampling systems for taking representative samples from open-bed trucks, silo trucks and railway wagons. The product range includes the three sampler designs PSL (Column Sampler), PBL (Bridge Sampler) and PPL (Portal Sampler), together with the associated control, sample transport and sample preparation technology. The scope of supply and services will continue to include planning, engineering, assembly, commissioning, service and spare parts supply.

Other business areas previously covered by INOGET, such as general silo and plant engineering, will no longer be pursued under the INOGET brand. These capabilities are already covered by Reiter Seed Processing GmbH & Co. KG.

In addition to its robust mechanical design, a key element of INOGET technology is its proprietary control system. Depending on the application, different levels of automation are available – ranging from manual operation to the fully automated Matrix Control System, which enables sampling points to be visually selected, approached precisely and stored.

Know-how and service remain in place

All engineering data, technical documentation and spare parts information will be fully transferred. This ensures that older INOGET systems can also continue to receive maintenance and service support as well as spare parts.

From technical planning and engineering to assembly, control systems, testing and commissioning, the complete process will continue to be provided from a single source.

Part of Reiter family of companies

INOGET will remain legally and operationally independent. At the same time, existing resources within the Reiter family of companies can be shared in the future. This gives INOGET access to additional capabilities in engineering and design, in-house manufacturing, control and automation technology, assembly, commissioning, service and international sales.

This also creates practical advantages for customers. INOGET sampling systems will continue to be available as stand-alone solutions, while also being able to be integrated into larger plant projects where required.

“INOGET is an excellent fit for us, both technically and strategically. The technology is well engineered, robust and meets exactly the quality standards that we also apply to our own machines and plants. Our goal is to develop INOGET on a sound and sustainable basis for the long term and to continue improving the products step by step together,” explain Johann and Matthias Reiter.

Structured transition and further development

The previous owner and Managing Director, Christoph Lehmann, will continue to support the transition in an advisory capacity. This will ensure that the technical knowledge he has built up over many years is transferred to the new organization in a structured and reliable manner.

The Reiter family would like to express its sincere thanks to Christoph Lehmann for building and developing the INOGET brand, as well as for the trust he has placed in them by handing over his company to new ownership.

Alongside securing the existing business, INOGET will continue to be developed with the needs of its customers in mind. At the same time, the company will retain the characteristics that have shaped it to date: specialized, technically focused and with short lines of communication between customers, engineering, manufacturing and service.

The acquisition on 1 October 2026 therefore does not mark a complete restart, but rather the continuation of an established brand under new ownership – with additional opportunities for the future.

INOGET remains INOGET – with secured succession, proven technology and a long-term perspective.
